Do NOT stay here! Worst experience ever! Bug infested, old unkept villas. We arrived on a Saturday to find ants everywhere... every kitchen cabinet, bedroom dresser & all over bathrooms. Termites and roaches in kitchen. Doors to outside deck were unusable and the kitchen door actually fell off hinges due to wood rot. Out of 3 exits only 1 was usable! TV was not working due to cable box blown out. You could not even sit on sofa in living area due to cushions sunk to bottom of frame. Outdoor furniture was filthy & unusable. The villas are not maintained or checked out before you arrive, although they claim they are. We checked out the following morning. We were told we would get a refund which took several calls and two different refunds to get our money back. Only half of the money was credited back at first and we had to follow up with them to get the balance. Book your vacation somewhere else!

Bareboating a sailboat can sometimes be stressful and difficult, with airlines coming in late, early checkouts at hotels, and not getting a boat until the afternoon. Especially with a group of six loaded with gear. The manger and the friendly staff at Pelican Beach Villas set our minds at ease, helping us in anyway they could to make our vacation easier and more enjoyable for us. It was a very warm welcome to Abaco. The Villa was very cozy and the view was just beautiful. It is located close to both marinas, for easy boat transfers, and great snorkeling, for your down time.

This was a lovely valentines day/birthday spot. Villas are great for all your needs! Beautiful view and friendly staff! Highly recommended! The villa we stayed in had two bedrooms one with a master bedroom and another room with twin beds. Two bathrooms, kitchen and living area!

We stayed for one night in the Pelican Beach Villas. The cottage was nice with a living room and kitchen. We got in late and was able to access our room after the office was closed which was nice. When we awoke we were greeted with an incredible view of the water that was incredibly clear! I would also note that I left my sneakers and sweat shirt in the room and the staff was nice enough to return it to me in the mail! Thank you Pelican Beach staff and see you on our next trip!

Room Tip: The two bedroom unit is nice if you are staying with family or guests to have some extra space.

Going during off-season has its advantages one might think: nothing is remotely crowded, go to any restaurant without a reservation, prices should be less. However, many places were closed in the “hurricane season” so, for purposes of making a connection to a sailing boat, we needed to stay close to Marsh Harbour. Pelican Beach Villas seemed a good idea. In fact, it was not an especially good idea. Even if I factor in the relatively high costs of things in the Abacos, this is still not good value; it is in the end merely OK. We had some trouble connecting to be able to check in, as the owner or manager does not seem to be around too much. The room was clean, but there was a strong smell of mold, whose source we could not fathom; I found it displeasing, but my wife was really upset by the smell. The size of the room was adequate, but not particularly spacious or comfortable. Although their website said the bed would be queen-size, it was a double bed. Frankly, if I paid half of what I did (around $220 off-season), I would have been less inclined to complain about things. Oh, free WiFi worked fine, and the adjacent beach was pleasant.
