The food here is quite acceptable. I ate here three times and had western and Ethiopian food.

The service is slow, but then everywhere is. It’s not cheap but not that expensive either. The the patio is great, they serve traditional coffee and cold beer and a variety of food.

You will soon discover Fresh Touch. It’s central and the best available restaurant in Harar.

Went here twice, really shouldn't have! The food was ok, had a fetira, which if you havent tried harar/dire dawa are the places to try it, however I wouldn't suggest fresh touch. It's a nice place to sit but I would recoment Kim's Cafe across the road for better food

I dont think there are many places in Harar which fit a westerner's need. Fresh Touch meest those needs and has some great pasta. Friendly and accessible

We stopped here during our tour of Harar. The food is very good; the beyaynetu platter (they have a special name for it, which I forget) at 400 birr was enough for our table and was the best I had in Ethiopia. So much delicious, tender meat, everything nicely and consistently spiced... great. The pizzas for the kids were also good.

Of course, this is a tourist place. Our guide wanted to take us somewhere 'local' for a second meal (the first local meal being at best mediocre) but however uncool it is, this tourist restaurant is simply much much better.
