Visited today with family. 3 meals out of 4 arrived in good time, 1 meal had been missed off the list (mine) had to wait for about 5 minutes extra for it arrive. When it did come, the food was over cooked. My daughter had a burger which was more bun than burger and greasy. The chips were nice, so this saved the meal a little. The place itself is lovely. If I go back again, it will only be for drinks and definitely not the food.

Sitting here with my family and all had Sunday Roast. Which was beautiful the Yorkshire pudding nearly filled the plate. The roast beef was £8.95 and only £2.00 for dessert. Definitely recommend!!!

Just returned from there and only got as far as starters then paid up and left.

From 2 starters you would think one would be ok - wrong

Starter 1 Popcorn prawns with salad - actually mini soggy tasteless Yorkshire puddings with shredded lettuce.

Starter 2 Chicken liver pate served with warm crusty roll and a relish - actually a grey cuboid of mush with two half slices of ordinary toast a frozen piece of unspreadable butter in its wrapper and a pot of relish. Shredded lettuce with no other salad type in sight.

Worst food in a pub in many a long day. Specials on the board looked ordinary - Hunters Chicken Pan fried Salmon - wow!
Needless to say wiped dust off feet on exit and vowed never to return - you have been warned - the lack of diners was certainly not a coincidence - rubbish food at a price.
