The park is excellent the opportunities for tiger sightings here is, if patient and listen for alarm calls around 90% successfully sighted and 70% a very good sighting, 30% chance for a very close encounter if you and your guide read the tigers movements correctly.

Without listing the entire forest fauna there are also a wide range of other animal types. From various deer, boar, sloth bear, Leopard (and other varieties of cat) monkey and a whole plethora of bird...! This is truly one of the worlds greatest sanctuaries for wildlife.

I do believe the park is also run very efficiently to minimise the impact on “over crowding” around Tiger sightings, altogether though, this can still get quite busy... Just imagine if the park wasn’t managed correctly... complete chaos would ensue. So well done on that note.

The toilets at centre point though, I would say either don’t drink, hold it in, wet yourself or stay at the hotel if you have an issue. The toilets are in a state and need blowing up and rebuilding... But that’s only a small issue that personally we managed to try our best to avoid.

ELEPHANTS!! If you don’t want to carry 5 to 6 fat people on your back, while someone runs their feet over your head... Then don’t go on an Elephant...The only downside to Bandhavgarh is the use of Elephants for human entertainment/abuse in Zone 1 on the AM game drives. 4/5 due to this point

The park, guides, sightings of the main attraction and the other co stars in the park are all worthy of a full marks review. Would definitely visit again in the future and highly recommend.

Lovely scenery especially at newly opened Zone 4 where we saw Chinkara, Nilgai and a fox.
Great tiger sightings in Tala Zone as some "grown up" cubs around.

Stayed at Mogli Jungle Resort and would highly recommend as staff are very friendly & welcoming.

We chose this park based on countless reviews and blogs we researched and feel we made the right choice. We stayed at Bandhav Villas and loved it. We did 4 safaris and saw tigers on 2 for a total of 3 tigers one of which was in the top 1% of tiger sightings. Gates 1 and 2 are best for sightings. Get some chai tea at the zone 1 check in point you eat at it’s unreal!

The place is good but with very less number of animals . If you are booking a single ticket online and your fellow companions of the gypsy don’t come for the visit then the forest officer or whosoever is the senior most public servant there has the audacity to tell that you can not go because other passengers dint come( as if it’s your fault ) and also says - we don’t have anything to do with mponline!! . So it is expected that you pay for the full vehicle entry even if you are travelling alone . Also if you are paying Rs 2500 for the full vehicle and you are made to share your gypsy with other visitors , then you must divide the 2500 Rs amongst the number of passengers because otherwise the middlemen will take that money from the visitors and pocket it without giving you your rightful dues. There is lot of underhand dealings which happen in securing a ticket . , so just be cautious . For the core zone TALA , the online tickets disappear even before the earliest booking date . In short , it’s better to visit other tiger reserves and give this a miss toll MP govt finds better ways to manage it !!

It was an amazing experience in the lush green beauty of bandhavgarh forest, the natural beauty of this pristine park is breathtaking, we had encountered a tigress and many deers and antelope, eagles & vultures..
Amidst all it was an unforgettable experience.
A must visit national park in all India.
