My wife and I stayed at the Drew House this past weekend and very were pleasantly surprised. The renovated horse barn of this centure estate made for a very quaint spot to stay. Despite a few cob webs and some exuberant ladies staying on the same floor, this B&B was lovely. Roger's full breakfast was fabulous and the proximaty to downtown Elora was an easy walk.

My husband and I just spent 2 nights at Drew House In Elora. It was our first ever stay at a B&B and we really enjoyed it. We were offered at upgrade to a whirlpool bath room but we stayed with the regular room (room 3 in the coach house) since it had a view of the garden instead of the street. We are glad we took this room since it had a nicer view and had we had the whirlpool bath the bathroom fan comes on when you turn the light on anyway, so it would have been noisy. The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was fairly large and it had character with old beams etc.
Kathleen was very nice and helpful and Roger made an excellent breakfast both mornings with tea, juice, fresh fruit, toast, bacon, eggs, potatoes and a tomato. Portions were very plentiful. They have a fridge downstairs with water and juice for guests. They also have rooms in the main house but the coach house seems more private. It was quiet even with a full house the second night. You can sit out in the garden as well and enjoy the view.
The only negative about the stay was the bedroom fan made a clicking noise (on medium). The first night they had an outdoor water feature in the pond turned on and it masked the noise. If I turned the fan down to low it got too hot so I didn't get much sleep the second night when they had turned off the water feature.
It is about a four or five block walk into Elora. They have the gorge, intersting shops etc. We ate dinner at the Shepherd's Pub the first night and at 13 Mill Street the second night. We sat by the window overlooking the gorge the first night and outside on the outdoor patio overlooking the gorge the second night. The pub had great nachos, fish and chips and burgers and the 13 Mill Street had great spinach and artichoke dip, pasta and steak. Service and atmosphere was very good at both restaurants. We would definitely go back to either restaurant again.
We needed a break from work and we would definitely recomend and return to the Drew House! We really enjoyed our stay there.

This is a bed and breakfast Hotel. It was built in the 1800's. A barn is made into antique looking rooms. You can sit outside on a picnic table surrounded by trees and a fish pond. There is a chef there that does breakfast. For breakfast which is included you get a fresh bowl of fruit and bacon and eggs. Also there is a fridge on the main floor where drinks are free. But if you want a TV and a phone this is not a place for you. It is a great place to relax. The owners are super friendly.
