The visit in this place is really at the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery which houses this church. This Abbey is one of the oldest in Russia, dating back to the 14th century and it is also known as the Monastery of St. Cyril of the White Lake. The Monastery is within fortified walls measuring 2400 ft long and 22 ft thick.
