This one woman restaurant is a must if you are in town. Food is organic, most of it homegrown. She speaks good english and chats non stop. We had soup with noodles and meat filled Chappatties wich was a joy

Located near the Baltit fort this small restaurant is well worth the visit! Perfect for trying local Hunza food, is super tasty and the two sisters that run the place are lovely. You will leave very full, a bargain restaurant worth supporting! I ended up having breakfast and dinner here

How happy am I to find this here!! This tiny restaurant is my favorite in the whole wide world. If I could eat at one place every day this would be it. It's run by 2 Hunzai sisters. The entire space is like a 6*6 stall made of wood. Only decoration is some hand-embroidered pieces they have created themselves. They serve authentic local food made with best and freshest ingredients. Everything is made to order. I ate here almost every day. Their Spinach Pasta and local pizza made with yak meat are to die for. Follow it with local pancakes and a cup of tea. Divine! And this was the best place to meet locals and tourists alike.
Laal Bano, the more active sister, has been to Japan several times for training in natural medicines and natural pesticides arranged by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). She is my best friend in Hunza.
