Friendly beach restaurant. Fabulous fish and attentive service. We will definitely go back if visiting the area again.

Of all the beaches in central Algarve this is in my view the best. Central to this relatively compact cove is the beach restaurant. It is Very popular with British residents and locals alike and reservations are needed. The views are great out to sea and the decor is relaxed but smart.
The food was good, we enjoyed Calamari with piri oil 8.90 euros, Ceviche 11.00 euros, piri piri chicken ( Portugal is I believe the home of piri piri cooking) 12.00 euros and Squid kebab 14.00 euros.
Wine was reasonable at 19.00. Beware that cover charges of 2.90 per person and then some other charges we could identify crept on to the bill making a total for the above of about 88 euros .
