Quality food at very reasonable prices. The set meal deals are real value and are of a surprisingly high quality. Portion sizes are more than adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ideal for a lunchtime stop. While your in Ferragudo have a walk though the narrow strrts to the church where these a lovely view and you can enjoy a coffee or a refreshing drink at cafe Duplex.

We loved this restaurant. I think it was a Euro or 2 more expensive than the restaurants on either side but we found the menu more extensive and more enjoyable in Portarade. The staff were great and very helpful. They were full one night and still managed to fit us in! We returned about 5 times over 10 days. Very reasonable and great food. The fish was amazing and the kids pizzas were in such fun shapes. They were delighted. Great lunch deal. A firm fave for us and we can't wait to go back next summer.

Yes, price considerations are important......we feel that with the all inclusive offer we can offer "great value for money" and one of the reasons why many customers return on a regular basis.

We went to Ferragudo for lunch, there are a few restaurants in the square with menus for different prices. We chose Portarade as we liked the look of it. We had the 11.50€ menu which has a starter, main course and a drink. The service was good, and the waiters were pleasant. I had the mixed kebab which tasted nice but the pork was a bit tough, I had to ask for a sharper knife, my husband had the piri piri chicken which was tasty. I would return if I am ever in that area.

Ferragudo has many snack bars and restaurants, so there is plenty of choice for those not familiar with the village.
Here at Portarade we try our best to offer a good product, at a fair price. Sorry about the pork but we would have replaced the meal if you were unhappy!!
