I just visited restaurant PortArade on lunchtime and had the menu 2.
The menu 2 included maincourse and dessert + one drink.
I chose mixed kebab plate and chocolate cake and small bottle of red wine.
I liked all the 5 different meat and the chocolate cake smelted in my mouth.
I really got value for the 11,50€.
Staff was really customer friendly.

For an inexpensive lunch with good Portuguese cuisine, the lunch touristic menu is very hard to beat. They have a variety of priced options such as; starter or dessert, choice of main meal and a drink (caneca of beer or half bottle of wine!) all for €11.50. Make it five courses (and also couvert) for €14.50. Superb value!
I especially recommend a beautiful dessert that I had - it was a pear poached in red wine and was absolutely delicious!
The wait staff were friendly and efficient.

Had the basic lunch...9.50 euros...choice of main course and drink of choise...i went for the ribs....wow...several ribs in a bbq sauce....the meat just fell of the bones..served with great chips and salad...brilliant meal and really enjoyed it...service was excellent,..staff very friendly and helpful...

We eat here and the sister restaurant Beira Mar many times on every visit to the Algarve. The food is of a very high quality and extremely good value. Staff and locals very welcoming. Great all times of the day and any month of the year - morning coffee with pastel de nata, fixed price lunch and dinner deals or just to sit and have a few drinks in the square. Make sure it is on your to do list for your next visit to Ferragudo.
