It's a good hotel to spend one night on your way to the Alps. Rooms are very clean and good on overall, though they can be improved (mattresses and pillows are hard for my taste). The best of this place is the scenery and the food at the restaurant downstairs (which is not the same where they serve breakfast). BTW, breakfast variety is limited, but all exquisite. Service is excellent.

We arrived at the town of Aosta, Italy, after a drive from France through the Mont Blanc Tunnel. We didn't have any place to stay so went online and found the Hotel Diana. Of all the hotels where we stayed during our three week trip to Europe, the Diana was the best. We were greeted by Stefano at the front counter, and he was extremely!!!! friendly. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs, we did stop at the bar for a drink and had a nice conversation with the bartender where we both tried our best to speak each other's languages. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was the best we encountered on our trip. The Hotel Diana is an excellent choice and an extremely good value! The only minor drawback is it was a bit tricky to find as it's in a small town just outside Aosta in Pollein, so adjust your GPS accordingly. But if we get back up to Aosta, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Diana.

We only stayed here for one night, but everything was satisfactory. We had a room facing the back, it was quiet during the night and the beds were comfortable. The front of the hotel faces the street, but I don't think there's much traffic during the night. The rooms look a little old-fashioned and could use some modernisation. But apart from that, everything was clean and the size of the room was ok. We did not have air-conditioning and did not need it, I could imagine it being a little too hot during the summer though.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and breakfast was good. To get into Aosta you have to take the car, but it isn't far and were were given a map, directions and told where to best park the car.

A good location near to Aosta center, only few minutes drive, with a friendly staff. Our room was good one on the top floor with a nice view, clean and confortable. Breakfast is better than average, but each day nearly the same choices, could be more variation. The restaurant downstairs is a different company, not recommendable. Note, there is a small pump station nearby, but it does not ruin the hotel service and could be helpful for travelers by car.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the corner in the upper floors

Our experience was supposed to be a lot better. The hotel is quite recommended across travel sites, located in a nice neighborhood not far from Aosta, and has indeed very nice staff. Having said that, the room, which lacked air condition and had only one window, was an awful heat trap. An ordeal of table tennis, with us being the ball, between the hotel management and the miserable booking.com turned to be only a show. We had to limit our night time there to the possible minimum.
