We stayed for one night at Maison Luc, managing to find a room at late notice. Angie and Martin were great hosts, really friendly and full of interesting information about the area. We arrived during torrential rain and floods so we were not able to get the most out of the area. But the room was comfortable and the great breakfast and charm of the hosts made up for the unfortunate weather.

Angie and Martin are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. We stayed in a very comfortable room in the house with direct access to the deck and it's lovely view. It was so nice to go for a dip in the pool after kayaking and walking through ATNP. Angie puts on a very healthy breakfast although it would have been nice to have had something different the second day. The very comfy bed lends itself to a good night's sleep.

We arrived in the evening and after a warm welcome, we went for a walk at the pretty located yet totally lonely beach. Afterwards, we were invited to join our hosts for a drink at the terrace overlooking the sea. A truely relaxing place where we would have loved to stay at a little bit longer. The delicious breakfast we enjoyed on the terrace was outstanding. We would like to stay there again.

We stayed at Maison Luc for 3, restful nights...First and foremost the bed was really comfy and you wake up to Anges wonderful, generous breakfast served either on the deck overlooking tidal mudflats and stunning mountains in the distance..or inside thier lovely home. We used the pool which was clean a refreshing. We spoke to Ange about our trip further on and she gave us a great tip about visiting Whareriki beach near Cape Farewell..and a tip on visiting the souce of a local river..we took wine and cheese and bread...and on the way home...another great tip to hungry travellers.....stop at The Bus Stop...a big white bus for Fish and Chip takeaways...you cannot miss it when you drive from Motueka to Tapu Bay / Maison Luc.
