Everything about our stay in the Garden Cottage was idyllic. I could not fault anything. The location is only 30 mins from Dublin, but a whole other world away. A perfect escape that we plan to return to as soon as possible.

Liz was so warm and welcoming and very helpful. We felt relaxed right away. The cottage itself is beautiful, with a lovely kitchen/diner/sittingroom with a lovely view onto the pretty garden, while upstairs is a gorgeous, spacious bedroom, stocked with books, with a huge, comfortable bed. The bathroom has a big, double-ended bath and a great power shower.

The TV has lots of channels, there's a DVD player and a CD/radio. It had everything you could need, it was like a home from home.

But the biggest attraction of the Cottages is their location. Through a private gate is a fabulous strand, where we went for long walks every day. Stunning location. Great local amenities too, with a huge Tesco just up the road.

I can't wait to go back!

So cosy and comfy I didn't want to stir! However the call of the sea at a stone's throw energised me into a daily walk on the beach. Everything one could possibly need was provided - especailly a warm welcome and home made goodies (even if it was Good Friday!). There are lots of personal touches in the decor of Apple Loft which we loved. I curled up on the sofa and watched the sea and listened to the birdsong. We enjoyed a very good meal at nearby 'Relish'. In fact there are lots of things to do if one could bear to tear oneself away from this haven of tranquility. Thank you Liz and Roger.

From the moment we arrived- the warm welcome from Mel and Liz, with homemade scones and jam, began a lovely relaxing break in a wonderful comfortable and cheery Apple Loft Cottage. The facilities were first class..in fact it was easy to just stay in the cottage chilling with a showstopping sea views and the charming garden with glorious flowers and bird life to gaze upon. Upon walking down to the beach gate, and stepping outside the cozy cottage hamlet, we had miles of glorious beach to walk in each direction. An unexpected warm and sunny March weekend meant we felt like we had found a secret Summer holiday in Spring! Many excellent facilities abound nearby, pubs, groceries, takeaways and restaurants- including the excellent beachside restaurant "Relish" where we had a wonderful dining experience, one of the nights. All in all a very special destination..well maintained and lovingly presented! Thank you to the Cottages! A & J

I really don't want to share my experience because I want to keep it all to myself!!!
Sometimes though great places do need to be shared. We had a wonderful five night stay in the Garden Cottage. A wonderful thatched cottage set in a stunning Garden - it was lovely just sitting on the window seat watching the birds making their nests. The owners Liz and Roger are so welcoming as was Mel. The home made scones provided on arrival by Liz were scrumptious. There are plenty of books to read, travel tips and maps. Or just ask Mel who can point you to all the right places.
The cottages are in a lovely location with a short stroll to the beach. We was very lucky with the weather which was in the high teens all week - not bad for the last week in March. The break was so relaxing and we will definitely be going back.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Cottage and it was absolutely brilliant. The cottage itself was cosy and very well equipped, we were able to do lots of cooking with no trouble. The scones on arrival were delicious! The location is fantastic, it's so quiet and it feels like a complete haven from the real world! The beach is fabulous for walks. Everything was so peaceful, never been so relaxed. We would definitely return and recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed a wonderful mid week stay here, only enhanced by the unusual but fantastic March weather!! The quaint cottages are very well equipped and kept and we enjoyed 3 great nights in Rose cottage with our 2 small girls. Our 3 year old loved the freedom due to the very safe, child friendly site and easy access to the beach.
I would highly recommend these cottages for both family breaks and couples too as we had a wonderful time and thoroughly relaxed. Well done to the whole team at The Cottages Seabank as it is a delightful place.
