Inside Mega Mitre 10. Quite a large café with both cabinet food and a small/basic menu. Lots of seating inside and a few outside. Music plays inside so I chose to sit outside (which is actually in their garden centre). I can hear running water (water feature ?) and the occasional plant hunter walks past. Be prepared to share space with a few little birds.

Staff were very friendly and service to the table quick.
I ordered a vegetable slice (good solid size with lots of ingredients) with salad and a cuppa tea (good big/heavy tea cups).

I also brought an orange/date scone and a few biscuits to take away for later. The chocolate chip cookie I asked for turned out to be a peanut brownie (fingers in the wrong jar) and both were firm to touch but soft to eat.

This café is inside the Mega Mitre 10 store. There are lots of seating choices either inside or outside (outside seating is in the garden centre).
Small basic menu choices (kids menu included) or pick from cabinet. Friendly staff.

Inside was busy and had quiet music, but I sat outside. Sounds varied from running water (nearby water feature?) and customers asking staff questions about plants on sale in the garden centre.

Didn't have to wait long for my order to arrive ... vegetable slice/salad and a cuppa. The slice had good chunks of vegetables and a nice clean flavour. The cuppa came with really good big/heavy teacups.

I also brought an orange/date scone and a variety of cookies to eat at home later. One was supposed to be a chocolate chip cookie but was actually a peanut brownie. All the cookies felt firm but were quite dry/crumbly when eaten.
