Personally I found it relatively difficult to find somewhere to satisfy my craving for a curry after a few days in Diani. There do not appear to be a great many dining options offering good Indian cuisine, however this place ticked all of the boxes.
It has erroneously been labelled as a Thai restaurant on Trip Advisor but the food is very much Indian and from what I experienced, pretty good quality too.
Tucked away beyond the main buffet restaurant of the Swahili Beach Resort it was virtually empty when I visited and for some reason does not seem to be particularly well promoted. However, the menu offers a good, if not especially vast choice of dishes and the setting is modest but smart, not entirely out of keeping with the somewhat impressive hotel and grounds.
I had the chicken makhani and the sauce was excellent, although the chicken was a bit disappointing - it seemed almost like processed meat. The naan bread was freshly baked and very good and the complementary masala poppadum as an appetizer was a nice touch. Considering where it was (within a fairly high end resort) the food was reasonably priced and offered good value for money.
Overall then a great option if you fancy a curry, although I'd probably recommend going for the paneer over the chicken.
