Had a super meal here. Artisan bread to start (one was a nice fruity one). Mains a massive set of ribs and a gorgeous salmon quiche served with 9 bite size mini salads around the plate. These included a potato salad, a rice salad, cous cous, a candied beetroot, a coleslaw, a chickpea one... you get the idea! And a massive slice of lemon meringue pie for pud. Highly recommended for the mini salads alone. Reservations can't be made but we noted it didn't get busy in there till around 7pm.

...but completely overrun.
The food is really delicious!
The tables are extremely close together to get as many people in as possible. And still outside is a long queue.

Have just returned home from Lagos/Luz and ate here about 10 times with the family.
You can’t book a table, so either be early (before about 6.45/7 we found) or be prepared to wait.
The food is consistently of high quality. The Tellegio (spelling?) salad is a delight to start as is any of AntiPasto, Black Pudding, Chicken Pate, Tempura Prawns, Portuguese type Mozzarella, Vegan Pate’s or the Goats Cheese - all of these are really good and would be well placed in a restaurant at home in Ireland or the UK.

Main Courses are equally of high quality, tasty and healthy with everything home made!

I particularly like any of the Ribs, Salmon or the Chicken and whether you go for Salad and Chips or Ratatouille and Potato, they are always really nice. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options including the 9 salads!

Deserts are also a delight - from the Chocolate Fudge to the Raspberry White Chocolate Shortbread.... all really good!

The wine doesn’t disappoint and if you just like a glass with dinner or are a bit of a buff, there is something on the list from economical to prestigious - the economical is very good.

The atmosphere is fun, friendly, warming and lively and the Team are wonderful. Being “regulars” for the too short holiday time spent there, we got to know the Team a little, so thank you to Chicca, Davide, Rachel and Hugo in particular as well as the rest of the Team.

Would definitely highly recommend.

We were pleased we managed to get a table straight away. The service was friendly and good was really nice. A few things spoilt it for us. We ordered white wine and got red, my son's drink was also wrong, 2 of our meals we ordered were then not available and we were charged for an extra bottle of wine. That hasn't put us off as our food was really good

We visited Chiccas last night. A family of four. Really warm welcome by the owners brother. We were really impressed by the menu and although my daughter is vegetarian she had no trouble choosing and decided on a bean burger which she loved.

My son chose the ribs and said were the best ribs he’d ever eaten!

I opted for the smoked salmon quiche with nine, yes nine organic salads. It was absolutely delicious. I would be hard pushed to find anything as good where we live in south east England let alone in Luz. The bread is also worth a mention as it’s so good too.

Really loved this place. Very friendly staff. Healthy organic and beautifully cooked food. Very clean and comfortable as well. We will be back.

Well done Chicca!!
