Well, expensive tasteless food!! Family of 8 dined this evening, in which we had a variety of dishes, non of which unfortunately I can recommend: the prawn cocktail prawns we're like plastic, the shrimp pate was like the seafood sandwich mix(not nice) the scallops were rubbery and the smoked samon was brown and warm (yuck). The mains were no better either the fillet steak was not a fillet or a good cut!!! Very chewy and wasn't cooked to the preferred choice. Duck was like sliced cat food and the chicken... Well avoid at all cost, the chicken looks like processed meat that has lived in a can for many years. So on that note avoid at all cost..... Or face disappointment.

Sat upstairs with views over the sea, not been back in here since 2010, but it didn’t disappoint. This was always one of our favourite Luz restaurants, and the food is excellent. We had fish soup and vegetable soup starters, sea bass (crispy) prawns in garlic and the legendary monkfish kebab, all were excellent as were the kids meals (burger and turkey steak). Fabulous food, great location, very friendly staff, we are already booked to go back next week, can’t wait!

We had a late lunch here after visiting Luz. We were in a shady spot with a lovely view. Meals were served quickly and we enjoyed a sangria along with a BLT, and squid dish I had was whole baby garlic squid which was tasty. After we finished, we had no more service as they suddenly got rather busy.

Rang at lunch time and booked a table for 5 for 8pm that evening. Advised we’d have to sit inside but could have table upstairs. Arrived on time and was greeted warmly by several staff and shown upstairs to nice table just inside so still able to enjoy the views. Ordered litre of white sangria which was fine but not the best we’ve had this holiday so moved over to wine for the main meal. Ordered lamb rack, pork fillet, monkfish kebab, sea bass and giant prawns (which were definitely giant!) had choice of rice, chips or potato gratin. All meals were enjoyed wth no complaints. Had pears with sorbet and chocolate mousse both of which were good. Choose more expensive wine than usual so price 150 euros which I thought was good for what we got. I’d recommend trying for yourself if you want to enjoy a pleasant no hassle evening. Ask for a table with a view to make the best of their position on the promenade
