Reviewed June 20, 2018

With my family I spent a week from 8th of June, 2018 in the hotel with all inclusive care.
We had good weather, warm, slightly windy.
At our request we got two separated rooms on the top floor, and in spite of our early morning arrival, we were immediately able to occupy them.
The view was awesome, the furnishings and cleanliness of the rooms met our needs.
Air conditioning worked fine.
Fregoli or clothes drying rope for wet towels and swimwear would be useful.
It is advantageous for guests on the upper floor to have an elevator.
The food and drinks were delicious, fresh, especially Greek flavor, and the selection was adequate.
The pool is clean, the water is good at temperature, the terraces are pleasant.
The sea is just a few meters away, the coast is pebbly, calm and quiet.
The water was crystal clear, its temperature was good compared to the June time, rubber shoes are recommended.
Renting a car at the reception helped, which was smoothly at a relatively good price.
The island, the various shores, landscapes and cities are delightful, and accessible by car.
Supermarkets are well-equipped, open for a long time.
The nearby restaurants, taverns (Benitses) are distinctive and cozy. Foods and drinks are varied, prices are relatively high.
The bus runs often, and stops next to the hotel.
The hotel staff are kind and helpful.
Special thanks to Efeyenia and her colleague with glasses for their positive attitude.

Room Tip: the higher the floor the better the view the room

The ferries to Paxos were cancelled due to stormy conditions so we spent one night at the Maris Bellos hotel on a B&B basis. On checking in, red bands were placed on our wrists to denote our B&B status - different coloured bands for full board, etc. We were advised by reception that if we wished to dine that evening, it would be 15 euros each for the buffet. The hotel is not near to any tavernas or restaurants so we opted for the buffet.

The room was clean with a balcony overlooking the hotel's pool and the sea beyond. So far good. We spruced up, plenty of hot water, and went down to dine in the hotel restaurant.

The buffet was appaling, some of the worst food I have ever eaten, tepid and tasteless and laid out in a haphazard fashion - why place salad cream next to profiteroles (they really don't go together I am here to tell you). We'd been travelling since 4am that morning so tired and (still) hungry we took to our bed. After a good night's sleep, we went down for breakfast, again served in a buffet, and moderately better than the evening before - though still lukewarm.

Would I stay again? if the weather dictated so, then probably - though there is no way I would ever eat here again.

Quiet, clean hotel perfect for a family holiday or just to recharge.
Highly recommended for people with different food allergies - for me with celiac desease, they cooked separately with great attention; I had therefore the possibility to try the widest range of Greek specialties. Beware of overeating :) - the meals are really tasty ;)
Almost each evening there are different programs at the hotel, but one can take a bus or a taxi to Benitses or Corfu Town.
The beach is pebbly, but a sea shoe is not a must. The sea is clean and suitable for snorkeling, just bathing, or even for swimming longer distances.
The staff is lovely, helpful and very kind. I enjoyed my stay a lot!

Room Tip: Every room has a seaview, they are simple, clean and quiet - perfect place to recharge

Worst experience ever!We paid 7 nights, all-in,from from August 27 until September 3, 2016.From arrival was already a disaster: greeted by apathetic receptionist, he handed us the room key stuck with tape. We went up to the room with an antique lift, very dangerous and unsafe, and when we opened the door to the room, we were hit with the smell of urine!Air conditioning? No way, not working, yellowed shower curtain and stinking of urine, dirty pillows, the floor filthy dirty, stained furniture and old, balcony with broken glass and dangerous split.About food ... disgusting and threatening to do food poisoning, reheated 2-3 times, too salty and too spicy, just do not feel the taste of rancid! And the cherry on the cake, because we wanted to leave earlier, we had to pay another 250 euros (although I paid all in, one week!!!!)Of course, when we asked for the bill or tax receipt, it was immediately made a 10 euro discount and we were given a voucher by hand, initialed and signed by them!Definitely not a 3 star hotel, not even one star! It's a great scam between what it shows and what's true!

Room Tip: None!Unfortunately I can not say anything good about this hotel, except that the view from the terrace is beautiful.

Dear guest,

Every year they inspect the lift to make sure it is safe and working for the safety of our guests. The inspection happens by professionals technicians which work with lifts every year before we open. We receive a certificate for the safe and working condition of the lift.

The balconies in our hotel are all safe for our guests and before the season starts we get inspectors in to check for the standards by the hotel greek organisation of tourism.

Our guest rooms are cleaned every day with bio products and the curtains are cleaned every week.

Our air conditioners are checked every day by the technician to insure the air conditioners are working and when the guests report a problem we fix it in the same day.

The food that we provide are tasty and of good quality which are not salty or spicy, they are normal. Our guests can put their own spices(salt and pepper) to their liking.

Regards to the 250 euros it is not possible to comment on the information given. The policies of the hotel is to serve the guests and to not have to pay money for something which not right.

Kind regards,

Ifigenia

I was here in the month of August 2016 is excited about photos posted by the hotel administration .
During the stay we found that the food was the same from day to day less diversified and hardly postings had something to delight a child. In the daily menu only one or two dishes were different from those of the day before.
The hotel looks good in photos but apparently we found that instead of serving the meal is invaded by weeds like the backyard of the hotel. The staff was indifferent to the misery surrounding our place and only did pins were cleaned daily

Dear guest,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.

The menu for the buffet is different every day with different choices. Our food has a variety of different type of cuisine including mediterranean. There is a choice for the children within these different type of cuisines and every day they can have something different to eat.

Our hotel has a gardener which looks after the gardens every day in our premisses.

We try to serve our guests the best we can to make their stay enjoyable.

Kind regards,

Ifigenia
