“Home from home”
Reviewed November 4, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Ideal location.we didn't take car out for 1st two days. Easy walk to beach and shops and a nice walk along coastal path to Beer. So welcoming with lovely treats of scones, jam & cream and all the necessary staples were provided. Parking was easy just behind the cottage & so easy to unload car. Plenty of eating places near and a large super store 5 minutes away. The cottage was very comfortable and wanted for nothing.

“Lovely home from home”
Reviewed August 30, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

A perfect base for a holiday in Seaton with all the home comforts and ameneties you could wish for. Clean, spacious, warm and very comfortable. Wonderful to have some welcoming treats - much appreciated after a long tiresome drive! Having the parking space round the back was fantastic. An easy walk to the beach where we all very much enjoyed the paddle boarding and kayaking. Seaton has a selection of eateries and 'sea-sidey' shops and transport links to bigger towns for the adventurous teenagers in our family! The tramway was a good day out as was a visit to Lyme Regis. The owner was very friendly, and although we didn't need any, I'm sure would have been great had we needed any help.

“Warm & cozy cottage in perfect location”
Reviewed January 6, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Cottage is warm, cozy and quiet with everything you could possibly need.
A lovely selection of provisions were left for our arrival so we could have a hot drink and bite to eat.
Perfectly placed to explore the town, with plenty of eating places and grocery shops on the doorstep.
Great to have a parking space too.
We would definitely recommend a stay at Hydrangea Cottage.

“Fantastic, welcoming stay”
Reviewed August 13, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had an amazing stay at Hydrangea cottage. It was a home away from home. Had a lovely welcome hamper on arrival with fresh scones, jam & cream & much more. Was a lovely touch. There were toys to entertain my youngest child which she loved. Not to far to walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. We had a fab time.

“Smashing location, lovely house.”
Reviewed April 8, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We went on a 3 day break to Seaton and Hydrangea Cottage was a really lovely place to stay. Very conveniently located for the centre of town but in a quiet street and next door to the police station so a benefit in that I would imagine rowdy behaviour in the street would be at a very minimum given police cars parked outside. 3 bedrooms accommodating 6 people and very spacious
Parking is in a car port at the rear accessed via a narrow side street, and if you are clever you might be able to manoeuvre 2 small cars in the carport – my large XJ8 Jaguar fitted in with masses of room to spare. As there is no parking space outside the house because police cars have reserved parking, you will need to unload your car at the rear in the car-port, but that is a minor inconvenience.
A well-appointed house with a cache of toys for the younger guests and a very roomy place for those rainy days. In-house wifi was easy to set up for access, there is a large television and loads of children DVDs, again for rainy days.
Just 50 yards toward the town is a bakery where fresh fare is cooked every day .. open from 7 am to 3 pm. About 100 yards away is a small convenience store which is open until 8pm if you really feel that a 5 minute walk to the Tesco Superstore is just too far (you lazy person!) and the Tesco is open 24/7 and is, for such a small town surprisingly large. The sea-front is only a 4 minute walk away, the famous tramway is near Tesco .. in fact everything is very centrally located and rapidly accessed.
Loved the peace and quiet, but we did visit in late March so cannot attest to how quiet it would be in high summer.
Go, you will not be disappointed!
