“Lovely quiet site; lovely chalet; lovely memories”
Reviewed November 3, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

I really enjoyed my week 'getting away from it all' in chalet 12B. It's a corner chalet right by the far hedge so enjoys privacy and quiet. It is wonderfully well equipped, comfortable and welcoming. It's so easy to get anywhere from, and I entertained old friends there comfortably, too. The guys in the garage are very obliging and the shop has almost anything one might need right on site. I shopped my 'big shop' in the local co-op, which is in danger of closing due to the big Tesco, unfairly. But I did use the Wi-fi facility at Costa in Tesco. Phone signal at the chalet is fantastic as the mast is right beside it! It was a mild year for the autumn, but nevertheless the chalet electric heaters did make it comfortably toasty without costing a fortune. Congratulations, owners, you've got a good one there. Thank you.

“Great Value - Traditional family holiday”

Well what a good value holiday we have had.
The pictures of the cabin don't do it justice, it was very clean, exceptionally well equipped and so much more spacious than a caravan.
The cabin is a tad old fashioned but the wooden style added to it's charm.
Our three kids (10,8,6) found the place delightful, in particular they enjoyed the quiet site, ability to run about, climb small trees, meet a couple of new friends and pop across to the garage shop independently.
The constant hot water, easy cloth drying facilities and ample kitchen equipment made it a pleasure to rustle up easy meals, helping to keep the holiday cost down.
Beds were comfortable and lots of pillows were provided which I really appreciated.
There is lots to do locally, we'd love to give a big shout out for the guys running the body boarding at Sidmouth beach, top fun for all, and don't miss the delicious ice-creams at Pebbles on Seaton sea-front too.
The owner communicated very promptly with us, key collection was easy, arrival and departure times stress free, and electricity costs very reasonable.
This type of holiday is perfect for us cash strapped families who are looking to give the kids some sunny sea-side memories.

“Very Comfortable, Convenient & Peaceful.”
Reviewed July 14, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

The Chalet was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a good holiday. It is a good area with plenty to see and do both for young & not so young alike. Would definitely go again.

“Excellent location and great value for money”

The chalet is in a quiet location with easy access to the main Exeter to Lyme Regis road. There is plenty of space to spread out in the chalet, with a good sized kitchen with plenty of equipment. It would have been possible to eat-in throughout the holiday, but a short drive away took us to a number of very decent pub/restaurants (Axmouth has a couple of higher end 'gastro-pubs' and Colyford has more 'pub-grub' venues).

There is also a well stocked shop on site.

Seaton town is a short drive away and offers a pleasant shingle beach and a range of shops, including a good sized Tesco. There is a Waitrose further down the A3052 on the other side of Sidmouth.

We visited during a wet and windy week, but still found plenty to be getting on with in the local area. Highlights included Beer, Beer Quarry Caves tour, Seaton Tramway, Bicton Gardens, Lyme Regis, Jurassic Coast and Exeter city centre.

Further afield, it only took us about 1.5 hours to get to the Torbay area to spend the day checking out the English Riviera.

The chalet was a very comfortable place to stay without needing to break the bank
