As a group we rent a house every year.. some good some not so good.. this house was large spacious and clean and the location was perfect.. Warm and friendly service.. Thank you Helen we had a great weekend

On arrival at Mountain View Lodge, you will firstly be blown away with how beautiful the property is. It is situated in the most tranquil of places over looking the Comeragh Mountains and the beautiful countryside within its own private grounds. The inside of the property is truly amazing, 5 star quality, bedrooms all nice and large, some with on suite, the lounge and kitchen is out of this world, you can cook away and chat to the family at the same time. The dinning table is situated next to a bay window so you can eat and enjoy the views looking out over the countryside. This property is perfect for a family or group of friends to enjoy a holiday together, you are close to Kilmacthomas town for local shopping, plus there are plenty of places to go and visit on day trips out and about. We as a family had such a fantastic holiday at Mountain View Lodge that if we could have stayed, we would have. If your looking to stay in County Waterford with the family I would 100 % recommend having a look at Mountain View Lodge, you won't be disappointed. Fabulous house with a huge amount of space, ideal for a large gathering like ours, all 14 of us ! Ideally located at the foot of the Comeragh mountains, with magnificent views from the big living/dining area, close to good beaches, not far from Waterford and Dungarvan and very close to Mount Congreave's Gardens.We highly recommend Comeragh View Lodge if you want your holiday to be that bit special.

The house is aptly named, the views of the Comeragh mountains and countryside are beautiful. Seen in sunshine, cloud, or when the mist rolls down off the mountains, you can't stop admiring that view. Watch the rabbits too.
Grounds big enough for foootball and letting off steam. We had an easter egg hunt.
The house is much bigger than the photos show, 5 bedrooms, 3 en suites and a big family bathroom, (acoustics great in there for singing!) More than enough room for 6 adults and 3 children to rattle around in. Comfortable beds. Warm and cosy. Wood burner and heating, good showers.
Huge kitchen / diner and family room with every available pot pan and dish. Recommend this highly for families.

Our family celebrated my mother's 70th birthday in Comeragh View Lodge -all thirteen of us and with space to spare! What a wonderful house: 5 bedrooms, three en suite and that kitchen-lounge...I am lost for words. Helen Ridgard is a very friendly welcoming host, who made our stay such a delight. Well done Helen, we wish you great success for the future and would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family.

Spent a week in this beautiful cottage, very spacious and comfortable host very friendly and welcoming greeted us with home baked scones and Jam . The location is excellent and the view of the Comeragh mountain is stunning. We had three young children and while our weather was scorching and we were able to spend most of our time outdoors even if the weather isn't so favourable the house has a playroom for the kids so they have plenty to keep them occupied. The living room is split level so has a couple of steps and would just need to be careful with toddlers, however as there are plenty of exits if steps were a problem a disabled person could access. May seem a bit out of the way but only a few kilometers from N25 so easy to get anywhere you would want to visit. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and will definitely return.
