We had a great stay at the hotel. Ricardo went out of his way to help us with transport from the airport and local information. It is about 34 mins by bus to Venice and the bus stop is right next to the hotel. It is an easy journey on the 53e bus, but a bit tricky at night due to no information on the bus, so just ask the driver to help you. We recommend any of the upstairs rooms at the hotel - they are great!!

Be sure they don't scam you as they did with us, giving you the room that is on the ground floor next to reception: basically it's like sleeping at the counter. We couldn't sleep because we heard every single late check-in and early check-out, and also the noise of the receptionist typing in his computer! Zero sound insulation. This room is improvised just to sell one more room to the last clients booking and in the toilet there is no bidet (very important for Italians J). When we complained the answer was "this is an ancient Veneto villa, like if you would ever put high-tech on a classic car"... nice answer... congrats!

Very basic, rooms with ensuite, but the staff are wonderful and make your experience great. We stayed in Dolo and the bus stop is right outside the hotel, you buy your tickets from reception at €9 each for a return here at villa gasparini, and buses run all night until around midnight and are every half hour, hourly on Sundays , there is one close by restaurant to the hotel. Which is nice and cheap otherwise it's buses or taxi's everywhere so can end up being expensive. We were served bed and breakfast in the hotel rooms which is nice but again basic. Croissant , orange juice, cereal etc. I would definitely return but just bare in mind the bus journey to Venice is around 40 mins and can be seriously overcrowded.

We happened to find this hotel by chance. It was located just outside of Venice. The hotel was clean, cozy and lovely. The hotel has been renovated with exquisite details. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is full of antique villas which gives you a nostalgic sensation. There is a ferry and bus that takes you directly to Venice from the hotel. It is a convenient option instead of driving. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be near Venice with a relaxing stay.

This hotel is a quaint hotel with each room being unique and very spacious. We spent two nights here with a few family members and it was really nice. It was across the street from a canal and not too far to drive to take a ferry over to the island of Venice. The staff were friendly and there was a nice little grassed courtyard to relax in. A wine tasting was included with our stay, which wasn't at all what we thought a wine tasting would be, so if you are deciding whether or not to do it, if you are paying for it, I would suggest to skip. There is limited space for breakfast but it isn't too bad if you rise early or arrive later in the morning. The breakfast is continental and provided a good start to the day. We would stay here again, the rooms were nice and again, each one was unique. Also, there is a tree outside of the front door that has a wonderful fragrance that you must stop and smell!!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 108 and it looked over the front of the hotel.
