Realistic review. Group of four adults all had different meals and all quite satisfied with food quality, taste and presentation. Rotisserie chicken was extra delicious. Service was excellent when ordering and also when brought to table. Drinks reasonable as were desserts. Quite spacious between tables making for a relaxed atmosphere. Zero complaints.

Good choice of food at reasonable prices.
Marsdens pub, usually find they are good places to eat. Wished we'd stayed there too.

Had a great stay, helpful staff especially Kirsty who has been there for some time was always on hand at the weekend to ensure that we had great service and provide assistance if required. Warren the manager was very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Looking forward to a return visit.

Sometimes the Inn is crowded and you don't get a table. That's the good news. Bad news is when you get a table. It'll take an hour til somebody even recognizes you and then another hour (minimum) til you get your food. We tried it twice during our stay in these region and it was twice the same.

Came here for a meal Saturday evening, waited over an hour for food. Which by the time it came out it was already dark and the tables were full inside with people drinking. When the food came out the orders were wrong, food was either hard, cold and the majority of it was just awful. It was getting on around 9pm when food came out, so everyone just got on with eating it - no point waiting for them to correct it seeing as they took so long the first time round! Although, we got a full refund which wasn’t the point at all. Service was shocking, the manager/senior on at the time was Ash. He was rude and came across very patronising. There was no need for this seeing as there had already been complaints that evening of the food, service and waiting time.

To which tops this all off, 5/7 of the group have come down with diarrhoea and feeling unwell. One of them being my 4 year old daughter!!!

Clearly something isn’t right here? Considering I live in the area, it’s one place I certainly won’t be returning to.
