Very characteristic restaurant in a butcher!
The meat is outstanding. We had a mix starters, delicious tartare and prosciutto crudo! Then a kilo of steak with vegetables.
Bravissimi. We will definitely come back. Ah! The price is good too.

This is a wonderful and well hidden lunch + dinner restaurant on the butchers terrace. You have to go behind the counter, through the sausage factory and the ham production area, past the kitchen and then you enter the wonderful south facing terrace overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany. The restaurant does not have a menu, but serves the food they have available/what’s is in season. You get a few starters, maybe some vegetables and a few main courses, hope for the succulent cutlets from the black pawed pig, and often the local specialty for dessert; peach in sweetened red wine. A true feast for eyes and mind. Don’t forget to book, fills up fast!

This is a seriously delicious LOCAL restaurant with a view to die for. We were sent here for lunch by a local business associate. You walk though their butcher shop through their kitchen to a back patio with that incredible view- what a find!

Lunch was an antipasto plate of fantastic quality pork and cheese items. Next was a fresh bean soup that was outstanding. Next course was an amazing maialino that was so perfectly cooked and accompanied by the BEST mashed potatoes we've ever had anywhere! (plus they brought us a taste of a squash dish others were having which was great too). Lunch ended with some homemade biscotti.....perfect. All in all, this was the surprise meal of our trip...great view, fabulous food. Plus, we talked with 4th generation owner Andrea, who wow'd us about the history of his store. Fantastic find!

We met Andrea (4th generation) in 2015 and were highly impressed about his passion and knowledge. The way he treats the animals is a great example for a lot of other butchers.
This year (2016) we have had lunch 3 times and were very happy the food he served us.
Traditional kitchen (his mother is cooking) and good pairing wines.
Eating outside in the back of the store and having a wonderful view.
A real recommendation!
See you in 2017!
