Rustic, clean and comfortable. Arrive by boat. WiFi and electricity in main hall only. Candlelight at night. Excellent Cooking. Helpful staff. Quiet. Just you and the the music of the jungle. Took a long hike through the jungle with informative guides. Ate ants that taste like a lemon. The Liana lodge left a nice impression on me.
What a beautiful and amazing lodge!
We spend a few days during March here and had a wonderful time. The lodge is located in the middle of the rainforest and offers a variety of great trips to the deeper rainforest, local villages and the animal rescue station AmaZoonico. The staff was very open and heartwarming, making everyone feel most welcome. Every meal had several courses and was absolutely delicious, capable of curing stomach aches that we had gotten in our previous travel time. The rooms were beautiful handbuild lodges, even though they were limited by what can be put up in the middle of the forest they were absolutely comfortable and clean. In the end, the worst part was to say goodbye and we can't wait to revisit! ;)
We spent three nights at Liana Lodge and it was really a perfect experience from A to Z. The lodge is beautiful and the staff very friendly. We loved our room with the hammock and candle lighting. A very authentic way to experience the jungle and very safe too. We had almost no mosquito bites and were quite relieved to hear that there was no risk of dengue or malaria. Also the excursions with our guide Adrian were a true highlight as well as the food. Overall, we can highly recommend Liana Lodge.
Very remote and quiet site on the river. We arrived very late and had a good welcome and boat ride to the lodge. To note that at the sign post by the road mentioning the lodge turn left immediately to go to the boat site. Friendly staff and several activities to choose from. Guide shared his knowledge in his best English. Meals were good. We had not seen the payment details - pay in cash or before arrival (no cash machine) which created a small problem for us.
We stayed here for just 2 nights, lovely setting and warm welcome. The rating of 5 is taking into account the location, type of property and cleae expectations. We knew there was no electricity and no fan/AC and we were not bothered about that during our stay. The food was excellent, fresh and just so tasty. Nice area to chill and little bar. We did a walk and also went to Amazoonico - both really enjoyable and guide spot on.
