Breakfast was very good.Hotel is quite close to the railway station.Ac was leaking water inside the room. Remote was broken. Needs more maintenance. Complimentary wifi works only in the lobby. Even the bathroom screen was full of moulds.

I am sivakumar Jeganathan from chennai. I have stayed in this hotel from 5 June 17 to 13 June 17.

Hotel location is excellent. Rooms are spacious but A/c is not working properly. I have changed 5 rooms at last i got a room with A/c was working properly.

Hotel is not maintained well. Complimentary wifi is not connecting properly. Everyday menu is same for complimentary breakfast during 7 days stay. Restaurant service is very poor. it need improvement.

Staff are very courteous and polite.

Overall it is an average stay at Kumbakonam

Stayed at Vinayaga thrice in last 5 years and i've rated it high earlier. When i booked this in Feb 2017 for third time i was under so much surprise to see the poor state of the hotel. the customer service gone for a big dip with poor unfriendly management staff at the reception, the stair case all were dirty like a cheap lodge, the roof paints peeling off, the hotel room walls are dirty, linens were not clean and toilet with foul smell.. This used to be great hotel , yet good than other hotels at present in kumbakonam but i was let back to see its current state when compared to its earlier standard . Could have good management focus on this property to lift it up again. It is right there in prime location of city, so close n convenient. The restaurant quality also getting dropped big time. I wish to see this hotel revived back.

Room tip: Book online to avoid hassles with front desk staff

This is my second stay at the hotel. It's time that the hotel management gives a facelift to the room interiors and bed linen. Walls have become wet and soggy with the distemper corroding away and falling all over the room causing sneezing. Rooms are very dull and need additional lamps or tube light. Restaurant offers limited dinner options and the free breakfast is barely sufficient- very little choice and average quality. WiFi is literally absent in the rooms and the reception is no different.
Pro- center of the town
Overall a moderate stay for a short trip.

Good hotel for an overnight stay. Value for money. Clean rooms
Needs to improve a lot on parking facility not adequate enough.
Complimentary break fast needs to be improved not even warm , sufficient , service is very slow.
