We were warmly greeted when we arrived and quickly seated. We were offered a tapas plate with a nice selection of little starters. We all had the sangria, which was delicious with lots of fresh fruit. Not the drink I would normally choose but highly recommended!
We had a mixture of the couscous plate and the tagine and were all very pleased with the quantity and quality of the food. It does feel like a home-cooked meal.
We were again pleasantly surprised with the many desserts that were presented to us complements of the restaurant, including various pastries, dates, Turkish delight and clementines. Finally, a liqueur made from figs topped off a very pleasant meal. We'll be back!

We were recommended this place that is near the Castle of Vincennes and decided to try if for dinner. We were seated immediately and although we had some struggle with the language barrier (we don't speak Frenche), while looking at the menu, we were offered a tray full of different little snacks. The main courses are as plenty as tasty moroccan cuisine is. Enough food to take some leftovers.
Desserts are the usual middle eastern ones but at pretty good sized as well. Coffee and mint tea were very good too, and come with more sweets. Decent selection of wines and other beverages. Prize pretty competitive considering the large portions. Within minutes, the place was nearly full by locals which also speaks highly of this place.
Worth stopping by if you get tired of the typical French cuisine and have a hefty appetite after visiting Paris.

After just saying we wanted a salad, the waiter convinced my girlfriend to have the couscous. He comes with my salad with something added as a "gesture" after we were joking about the bill it came up to €52!! They charged us for 2 plated meals even though thats not what we ordered. Upon telling them what was wrong they handed me another bill that was wrong and had to argue with them to make it correct. And it was still overpriced (asked for a tea, got a kettle to find out it was €13). Paid and left. Just don't go. Don't trouble yourself. Tried to con us and think we were stupid enough to accept their add ons. No.

We had read tripadvisor reviews during our current trip to France & planned a dinner at Le Mediterranee. They open at 7pm and I would strongly suggest a reservation particularly on a weekend night. We booked on-line from the website and they had our booking printed out. If you don't read French I suggest reviewing the menu on line so you can translate as the menus are in French with no translations.
As others have said- no sooner do you sit down than the food starts arriving- a wonderful platter of small plates with everything from eggplant to, cucumber to almonds, and a side dish with chicken and a triangular pocket of Phyllo with a soft potato filling.
Everyone working there is friendly and always making sure you like the food and are having a great time. They will explain dishes or make suggestions to make sure your selections suit your tastes. People came by several times to ask if we were enjoying the food or would like something else- you feel like a very valued guest of a big family.
We ordered the Tagine with lamb & prunes, couscous also with lamb & vegetables in a terrine & a selection of grilled meats. We had 3 in our party and this was a lot of food- portions are very generous.
You have a choice of fries or salad- we selected fries, they were crispy & hot cooked to perfection.
Every dish had amazing seasonings and was presented beautifully- the smoky flavors of the tagine and the nutmeg-like flavors of the vegetable/lamb with couscous were so interesting. The grilled meats included a small skewer, a beef steak, lamb chops and sausages & meatballs flavored with mint. We just passed everything around so everyone could experience all the wonderful flavors of all the dishes. I am sure I missed something in the description
Though the food comes quickly you are not hurried or rushed in any way.
Desserts include a selection of bakalava and traditional pastry-type offerings, sorbets & ice cream, chocolate cake and a wonderful mixed fruit cup that we saw go by after we had ordered. I ordered a cup of mint tea which was unusual and wonderful steeped with plenty of fresh mint leaves- don't pass this up.
A traditional Tunisian after-dinner liquor was offered but we declined. One more small sticky pastry (you can grab it with your fingers!) and fresh tangerines finish off the meal
We left satisfied and already planning to go back.
Prices are very reasonable and given the amount of food you get, its a tremendous value.
If you get a chance to experience this cozy place- don't miss it!

We came across this lovely restaurant by sheer chance when looking for somewhere to park so we could have dinner in Vincennes. What a delight it was. Warm, welcoming atmosphere and food kept coming from the moment we arrived and sat down. Firstly before you even order, a tray of delicious tunisian appetizers are placed in front of you and then more morcels of delight arrive as you are selecting. We chose the tagine, Alan had the lamb with prunes and I had the fish tagine with apples. A huge dish of couscous accompanies these bubbling delicious tunisian dishes. the meat was beautifully tender and the flavour fantastic. For dessert we were so full that we ordered a mint tea, and that came with turkish delight, dates wrapped in a crunchy pastry, oranges, figs and other sweatmeats. We returned for supper two nights on after a very tiring though culturally rewarding day in Paris and we were welcomed again and fed most royally and generously and would thoroughly recommend this family run business (we have now met the son and the neice running the restaurant for their parents and uncle). Incredibly good value with the main dish at 16.50 euros and the drinks and bill for 2 was £52 euros.
