“Great location ”
Reviewed June 4, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

House is compact but perfectly formed! Slept 5 of us easily and the garden room was a bonus. The garden is also very pretty and a lovely sun trap when the sun shines. We loved our short stay and my only complaint would be that there was no milk for a first cup of tea (although the tasty cake did make up for the disappointment!). Southampton shopping centre was a big hit on the days when weather was less dry :) and lots of cycle rides and walks nearby for the better weather.

Hi Natasha
Arg! So sorry I forgot the milk (that first cup of tea is critical!) Glad you enjoyed the banana bread & if you come back I promise to leave two pints to make up for it!

We are familiar with this area as our cousin lives close by. This house ticks all the boxes . We arrived on a Friday and did not get back In the car it till Monday. There is so much to do locally. The house is within a ten minute walk of Hamble village which has lots of dog friendly pubs and plenty of eateries. lovely wAlks on the doorstep and ten minutes from Marina. The house is very clean, well equipped for couples and families. The owners are very accommodating andleft us contact numbers in case of any queries. there is a great selection of things to do in case you just want to chill out and relax. a weekend was not long enough. Fabulous

“Family Holiday”

The Moorings was exactly what we needed. A quick family holiday away from the hustle and bustle. A beautiful house, very calm, tidy and in an easy location. Close enough to the water and not too far from Tourist attractions (ie Stonehenge, New Forest). The local Pub named The Victoria Inn, has lovely food and a great atmosphere.
We were welcomed with a home made Lemon drizzle cake.

Contact with the owners, was easy and comfortable.

We would recommend this property to all our friends and family.
We will definitely stay here again.
