I visited as a solo business traveller. The service overall was a little slow and not in order. Other customers who arrived after me had their order taken. This happened twice despite me raising the issue the first time.

Nice carrot cake. Mocha lacked coffee or chocolate taste. Could have been a supermarket powdered version.

No check in provided by the waitress staff. It wasn't really busy. Looked 50% occupancy so would expect better.

Chocolates were well conched with good mouth feel and flavours. Although a little pricey.

I probably wouldn't recommend or visit again.

My husband and I came after I'd finished work as a treat for doing a weekend shift. We were quite disappointed with the churros. Normally I've only ever had them warm but these were really chewy and had a bit of fridge chill. Also quite disappointed that for £3 for 3 you don't get any chocolate to dip them in but have to pay another £2 to get a small bowl of melted chocolate. We would come back but wouldn't bother having the churros again.
Also don't sit outside if you don't like wasps we were really bothered by the little beggars to the point we went inside to escape them.

Service is always great and the range of cakes available are lovely. The carrot cake with vanilla ice cream is the best in my view!

We have visited here many times and the quality of the food is excellent. Lovely milkshakes which we usually go for as well as a delicious sandwich selection and many cakes/pastries/chocolates to choose from. You won’t be disappointed, the prices are around £7-8 Mark for sandwiches and cakes around £5-6 Mark so not cheap but you are getting premium choices here so justified.

Recommend!
