Great location but poor hotel facilities

Review of Aramis Hotel
4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jan 23, 2017
The rooms was ok and clean. The bathroom was too dark. The pigeons outside of the windows were very annoying. The breakfast was average. I've been told that this hotel would be probably the best in the town.

It's a pleasant clean hotel in Nakhon Sawan. Staff are nice people. Only slight downside it is not really close to any of the major shopping centers. But a tuk tuk to get there is cheap. I still consider this probably the best hotel in Nakhon Sawan. Tell em Steve sent you for the best rate.

Excellent hotel, great value. Staff were friendly and competent (with the exeption of breakfast), room was very clean and attractive, very good location and a great breakfast buffet. I would have given this place 5 points were it not for the fact that they had a terrible action adventure movie playing quite loudly during breakfast and the staff was too busy watching it to pay attention to the customers - also, the pool could have used some cleaning!

A reasonably new and modern hotel by the look of it, I believe this hotel targets one night stop over’s and caters mainly for the Thai people. Pretty much everything is bright and clean with the staff jumping to offer help or even open a door for you. The rooms are spacious and a mention for the bathroom with its strange sliding doors come walls which means you can enclose the bathroom or have it as part of the bedroom! Hot water was not available at 6am for some strange reason and it seems in keeping with modern hotels to have soft lighting in the bathroom, not ideal when you want to have a shave. Wi-Fi was quite good and if you like Thai food for breakfast you will be happy but not if like me, I prefer European breakfast. This hotel is very good for its market target and I would use it again as it was a stopover for me. It does not cater for people who smoke, a long walk outside is the option. One last thing, 2 single beds pushed together does not make a double bed which was the case here.

We were amazed by the excellent service provided by this hotel. The room was very clean with clean and fresh bed sheets and a cleaned bathroom. There were some ants sharing the room with us, but I think this is unavoidable. Though some communication issues at the front desk, they tried to give their best and helped us in many ways. They organized a tour for us to the nearby lake (a must see) and as we asked for a recommendation for a restaurant, they simply drove us there with their car. The breakfast buffet was ok, featuring a variety of continental and Asian meals. Upon our leave we asked for a taxi to drop us at the railway station and again they drove us there for free. Besides of all the services they provide, the Wifi was not working in the room and we refrained from using the pool, which was located adjacent to the parking lot. I can highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Nakhon Sawan.
