We only stayed here one night as part of our bike tour (also with Hans via Chiang Mai Bicycles), but it was great. Nice clean pool, a tranquil atmosphere, great food and nice rooms. The family rooms are great for 4 (if the kids can be content in bunk beds). The food is lovingly prepared and Hans and his staff really look out for their guests. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who wants a few nights in a quiet leafy setting, with good biking possibilities through the countryside.

Located in the country side of Chiang Mai is this small but beautiful resort. We stayed for 2 nights in a 'Deluxe bungalow', which has all the amenities you expect in a luxury hotel (airconditioning, rain shower, safe, refrigerator), built on stilts 2 meters above the ground. The resort doesn't have a lot of bungalows, which gives it a nice, relax and quiet atmosphere. The pool is great! The owners, a Dutch guy and his Thai wife, do their upmost best to make your stay worthwhile and in our case they certainly succeeded! The Thai cooking is great and you can take drinks from the refrigerator yourself (you can write down how much you took in a booklet). If you need anything else, just hop in their kitchen and ask for it. But be a little reasonable (it's appreciated to let them know you want to have dinner upfront for example) and everything is possible. We also took the bike tour and cooking lesson, which was arranged very well. Since it's located outside Chiang Mai, the owners arrange in most cases your transport. In our case they arranged an Uber ride for our ride to the airport. I can highly recommend this resort!

Nice and relaxing place little outside from the city, taking care for the guest on their best even trying to find out the popular food and drinks from the guests and offer them against most affordable prizes, thanks staff and owners from Little village, hope to be there soon again Jan and friends

We stayed for about a week in Little Village. After we changed the room for a bungalow we were a lot happier. The place is beautiful, relaxing and the food great. It was nice to have some Dutch food, but the Thai food was great as well! There were not so many guests, but we had a great time with the people who were there!

Just stayed 3 days at Little Village & it was very comfortable. We stayed there as part of an overall 18 days tour of Thailand through Thailand Treks, which is associated with Little Village. The trip consisted of over night train from Bnagkok,to Chiang Mai which was an experience but good. We then caught a bus from Chiang Mai to Hua Hin train to Surat ThanI, ferry to Koh Samui & return & finally train back to Hua Hin.

All went off without a hitch, plus there were transfer between ferry's & some trains but all arrived on time, without any issues.

Part of the trip was jungle trekking, canoeing, tree house stays & co-ordinated trips around Lakes, Caves etc all arranged via Thailand Treks & all went off smoothly so I would rate them at 9/10, well worth it.

Little Village Chiang Mai was great & relaxing staff were friendly meals great, we didn't ride a bike but instead did a 8 klm walk around in the heat, maybe next time we ride a bike.

Overall I would rate the trip as 8 or 9/10.

Bus ride was an experience but I would recommend taking the train as even though the bus was comfortable with seats going back 130 degrees & service great, if you are a large person like me then nothing is going to be comfortable, this is a tip not a criticism for travellers.

Thanks Hans & staff at Thailand Treks
