Everything was just perfect. Very impressed to receive useful information well in advance of trip. . Amenities in the cottage exceeded expectations , everything from a sewing kit to a torch and some 'goodies' had been provided.. We had booked for 3 people but only 2 were able to come , however there was enough kitchen equipment for a big group. The weather was kind and we enjoyed exploring my childhood haunts of Exmoor and the Quantock Hills.
With my wife and my daughter we have enjoyed staying in Carol & Glen's Lime cottage for three nights.
There is everything you can need in the house. The pictures shown are conform to reality.
From Stogursey we visited many places like the Exmoor National Park, Quantock Hills, the lovely village of Dunster...
Following the numerous recommendations, we have tried the Babbling Brook and we do not regret it at all...it's awesome!
I would recommend this accommodation for people wanting to explore Somerset!
The location I perfect, surrounded by wonderful things to visit, ranging from castles and beaches. The village offers a relaxed setting with it's own very rare castle and moat, covered into a mill. Lovely walk to local pub, Bubbling Brook, with sensational food.
Stayed here for 3 days with friend for a well earned break. It didnt dissappoint was very relaxing, home from hone. Everything you need is there, well equipped. So much to see and do short distance away. Will be going back..
We had a lovely stay in Lime Cottage, with everything ready and waiting for us when we arrived, even including a bottle of prosecco theat Carol had kindly left in the fridge. We were fortunate enough with the weather to be able to enjoy eating in the garden, listening to the birdsong and made good use of the extensive DVD collection in the evening.
It's a great base for exploring north Somerset, once you've got used to the narrow roads and high hedges and is a very peaceful place to stay and full of character.
