This hotel, which was earlier called Quality Inn, has been taken over by the GRT chain and the change is reflected in the service . Its located a bit outside town in a reasonably quiet area.
The room is well appointed and very comfortable, though a bit smaller than those in some of the other hotels in this town.
The lone restaurant offers a cosmopolitan menu - North and south Indian, Chinese and Continental. The food is really good but comes at prices that are rather high compared top other hotel restaurants in the town. I was disappointed when the " Thenpandinadu sappadu", which I imagined would get me a typical South Tamilnadu meal, included with a Thai soup, tandoori rotis and dhal makhni besides....It was a good tasty thali, but thenpandinadu it wasn't !
The wifi was not working when I was there and they told me that the licence to serve liquor is on the way. The staff were friendly and quite efficient.
