Amazingly beautiful Baroque church. Very unusual, tall five-headed, petal in plan. And a lot of money was spent for its construction, so in those days it was stood out among the buildings of its own kind. And was built, as many believe, by one of the disciples of the great Rastrelli. The bell tower stands next to the church and is connected to the porch. But it is clearly of later age, for it differs a few from the overall style of the complex. But only slightly.
This is the church I liked more than others in Kaluga. But just the area in which it stands, looks not very suitable. There's even a strip bar nearby. Strange neighborhood for the church of the two saints, who became famous as the ascetic-disinterested.
