This charming Kuntur Wasi Hotel has a nice rooftop with a fantastic view of Cabanaconde. It is decorated in traditional Colca style. I especially loved the clean towels and linens that the hotel provided us with. The food was excellent the fresh trout was delicious with a glass of Peruvian white wine. My son loved the Alpaca Lomo Saltado and an Inca Kola. Kuntur Wasi owns a certified organic vegetable garden !
We were very impressed by the reliability of everyone who had a part in making our trip work - The connections, day trips, etc. The staff was caring about our welfare and made sure that we have a good experience in their village. We simply had a superb experience. Kuntur Wasi planned and executed an amazing journey for us. The culture and nature we were exposed to were delightful, educational and simply amazing. Our guides were topnotch and became our friends. We learned so much about the history, people, eco-systems, economy and traditions of COLCA.
Kuntur Wasi gives back to its community by supporting many educational programs. They also sponsor "Casa de la Cultura" a place where locals have access to different books and informtion on a subject of their interest. I felt really good knowing that by choosing Kuntur Wasi I am helping such programs.
