The building the rooms are in is a lovely converted old barn. However the walls are paper thin so it was difficult to sleep when neighbouring rooms had TV's on.
Room was OK but towels were very worn and a couple of the ones in my room had holes in.
Continental breakfast was not great. Juice tasted artificial. The only fruit was a banana. No yoghurt. Coffee was instant. There is cereal, toast and croissants.
Ate dinner in the pub, the food was OK but there was only one other person in there so it lacked atmosphere.

It was not obvious how to get into the building. You have to go to the pub. The room was lovely but far too hot. Continental breakfast...I say continental because that's what they told me. A croissant does not make toast and cereal continental!! Not even a yoghurt. I was told there'd be fruit but all they had was banana. Coffee was instant and cheap. I suggest you bite the bullet and pay £5 for the cooked breakfast.

Lovely room with beams and very spacious - we arrived late but were welcomed & shown to our cold room- it soon warmed up when we turned up the heating! on the downside a virtually empty bottle of hand wash was the only thing to wash with- for the price I would expect toiletries. Good idea to offer inclusive continental breakfast - yoghurt & muesli would have been nice. Lovely historical building

Two nights in a lovely room at a very reasonable price. The building was impressive, the bar and restaurant next door very handy, and all the staff very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely use again.
