Arrived shortly after opening. We were the first covers. Kitchen didn't seem ready to provide service. Other tables that were seated after us received dishes within about 10 mins of ordering. We waited about 10 mins to receive any service and we placed our drink and food order at that time. We declined the, "all you can eat option". We drank water for about 25 minutes before the food came out. During that time, I took kids to wash hands while we were waiting and the wait staff was still eating their shift meal. No one came to follow up with us after the food was delivered to check the quality, (food service basics). Had the waiter arrived 2 minutes later, our party had discussed and agreed that we would leave. Gyoza was straight from a box. Miso was par for the course. Tempura served without tempura sauce only a sweet a sour sauce. Chicken with vegetables on a hot plate was equivalent to a mild Chinese brown sauce... It was pretty terrible. You may ask why I didn't order Sushi? Because I heard someone did and became violently ill. I wasn't going to chance raw fish in August. I wasn't expecting much from an Asian food restaurant in Italy, and the customer service was so poor.
