We spent a night here while attending a wedding nearby. Gorgeous double room, with an ensuite, clean, warm, Carolyn had even turned the electric blanket on as the evening was a little chilly. Very tasty breakfast in the sunroom overlooking the River Griese and the old Mill. Carolyn was even kind enough to drive us back to the hotel to collect our car.

Carolyn and family are very warm and friendly, which only added to the great stay we had in a truly beautiful house. Our room was warm & spacious with a lovely bathroom next door. The surrounding countryside and garden is also beautiful with the house overlooking an old mill, which is a nice focal point during breakfast, which was delicious! we would recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in a house filled with history, charm and greeted by friendly hosts...not to mention their little jack Russell -Mini, who's a a real character! This B&B is a gem that we'll definitely return to for another break. Thank you Carolyn

This was a unique experience for us. The hosts, Carolyn and Robert made us very much at home. We had a large room with a good view over the countryside. At night Robert light an open fire for us, a great place to relax and read one a book. The village of Ballitore is very close and has a fascinating history. It was a Quaker village and still has many of the original buildings. The B&B is an old Georgian house built by one of the wealthy Quakers. The breakfast room (and the breakfast provided) was first class.

We went to the house and we were shown our room..there was no key to lock our bags and valubles in our room. There was dead flies on the floor i looked for a switch beside the head board cobwebs behind the headboard.not clean old fashioned second hand lamps that you would normally throw out..the bathroom was in the wardrobe..not for us we did not stay here as it was pricey for poor cleaniness and no locking the door.. worse b and b ever..another couple stayed here reluntantly and said they had to share a bathroom with another room with no key to lock the door. When we asked the owner she said its more a home than a b and b place not for that price you can t lock my phone camera etc in your room safely.it is so wrong.
