It's difficult to put into words how beautiful Isabella and Francesco's place is, or how wonderful they are as hosts. The setting of Tenuta Chiudendone is unreal...like a painting or a movie. We stayed in the ground floor apartment with our three small children ages 5, 3, and 6 months. The apartment worked perfectly for our family. It's beautiful, well stocked, lots of hot water, had a lovely patio to enjoy dinners on warm nights, and offered great views of the sunsets. The kids loved the play structure on the property, and flying kites with Giovanni! But Isabella and Francesco made the the experience even more special. They thought of everything. We were provided with toys for the kids, play blankets for the baby to play on on the tile floors and the lawn, brand new baby wash and lotion, a high chair, two pack n plays, colouring books and crayons for our older kids, etc etc!! We read Isabella's guide book every evening to help plan the next day's activities and we saw/ate things we wouldn't have experienced without her advice. We enjoyed the wine and olive oil that they produce on-site every night (and brought more bottles home!). One of the best days of our vacation was the day we enjoyed the tasting/lunch experience at the Tenuta. We learned so much about the area, the property, viticulture, the production of olive oil, cooking Tuscan food, all while enjoying...It's difficult to put into words how beautiful Isabella and Francesco's place is, or how wonderful they are as hosts. Thank you Isabella and Francesco!! We hope to be back for the grape or olive harvest someday!!More
