A super short stay holiday let , we enjoyed bringing in 2018 ... everything is spotless and furnished to a high standard , the cottage and service is a credit to the owners .
The pre stay information is superb and the cottage delivered everything we wanted .
The crown pub is a few short steps away as is the ( main shopping street) , plenty of close by free off/on street parking ... an absolute delight!
Such a lovely cottage, nicely finished, had everything we needed and is situated in an ideal location for accessing all the delights of nidderdale and surrounding attractions. It would of been 5 stars all day long if we had not been kept awake on the friday night by the noise pollution coming from the crown pub that is situated no more than a stones throw from the front of the cottage, luckily our 7 month old slept through it :-) not that we directly blame this on the owners but double glazed windows would of definitely deflected a good amount of the noise.. All in all we would absolutely stay again but through the week avoiding the weekend excitement of the pub going folk of pateley bridge.
This cottage was perfect, we were in England for a wedding and then spent nearly a week up in Patley Bridge at the cottage. The interior was very nice and had everything that was needed, just across the street was a bakery, up the street was a butcher, and right at the corner of the courtyard on one side was the Crown Pub and on the other was the Grannery Tea Shop which had the best food ever. Wish we had had longer to stay and check out more of the surrounding area, but what we did do and see was fantastic.
The cottage was very well presented, with all the equipment that you'll need in a self catering holiday. All the equipment was in good condition and appeared to be quite new. The owner was helpful with providing and recommending some information on the area. The location was just perfect. Very close to the high street and all it's great restaurants, tea rooms and interesting shops. Whilst the entrance is through a yard which is also used by a pub, it was never noisy (and we stayed over the May bank holiday weekend) and there are clear benefits of having a pub on your doorstep. Our kids loved the settings with the double bunk bed and loved the play area next to the river and walking along the river. Pateley Bridge is very well located for the Yorkshire dales. We had a great time at the cottage and the village.
Pateley bridge is very well located for excursions in Yorkshire dales, York,.... but you can also start on foot/bike in any direction for fantastic day out.
The location in the city centre is very convenient because it is close to the restaurants, pubs and the 1 SPAR. Within less than 100m there is free parking space. Noise from Pub on the side was quite OK and stopped before 11pm.
Next time - I will come for longer time (and prepare for difficult cycling tour....)
Lovely cottage set just off main high street. Ideal for kids with sweet and pancake shops near by and a lovely park to run around. Spar just around the corner for any essentials. Courtyard shared by nearby pub which was a little worrying as patrons sitting outside but all quiet by 10 pm. Would return!
