“What a fun place to eat!”
Reviewed 15 March 2012

It's part entertainment part great restaurant. If you go to Bogota your trip will not be complete without a visit to Andres Carne, inside reminds me of what a House of Blues would look like in Colombia. The staff is entertaining and the food and drinks are great.

“The most unusual restaurant ever!!! Great memorabilia and collectibles”
Reviewed 29 February 2012

First of all, do not feel tempted to go to the brach that is located in Bogota. Not even close to the one in Chia. It is worth sharing a van with friends In a forty minutes journey to Chia and experience the real thing!! The best time to get there is around 11 o'clock. At this time is still possible to choose tables and walk around to take photos. The place is full of memorabilia and collectibles hanging from the ceiling and on the walls. You won't be drunk if you see a wooden horse from a vintage carrousel hanging from the ceiling or being attended by a bull fighter. The place is out of a dream and envy thing is possible to happen.

The menu is huuuuuge and it has all the delicacies from Colombia, as well as typical food and drinks. There is a band playing loud music that envolves everybody. It is impossible to sit all night. There is a souvenir shop on the far left where you can buy something to remember this unusual night out. Very cool indeed!

During the night many character will pass by your table, it seems like a theater group is always around cheering up and stimulating the people to get into the vibe of the place. So, hats, crowns and whistles are given away to make you get into the groove.

Finally when you realize it is three in the morning and you will be surprised to get to your hotel around four still asking if it was real or not! I wish every place we travel we could find a place as surprising as this to make our trips even more unforgettable. Congratulations to the crew who work there too. Very efficient indeed.
