Together with the small fishing village of Camariñas this lighthouse makes for an interesting stop. You can imagine the importance of this lighthouse on a coast that has swallowed up so many ships and crew members. If you are lucky to get a clear day, the views are impressive.

Wonderful panoramic views along the coastline and friendly staff at the cafe but so disappointed that we were not allowed to go either into or up the lighthouse.

Spectacular scenery! Take the coastal road. Perfect views of the Atlantic and the coast. Winding road with incredible views. You can also take the main road. We took a hundred photos. Read the Historical marker. Enjoy!

Interesting place to bring kids. The tiny museum is pleasing with old lighthouse lamps, an ancient valve radio and maps of all the sea wrecks off the Costa de Morte - it's easy to see why it's called the Coast of Death! There is a little coffee shop and a fascinating machine, near the main entrance, which lets you stamp a 5 cent piece with a choice of 3 images - the kids loved it!
