We enjoyed 3 nights at Eliassen Rorbuer. The luxury cabin was very comfortable and well equipped with the most beautiful views from the living room window and the balcony outside. We stayed in a double bedroom cabin (number 5) which actually looked over the harbour rather than the fjord and we were very happy.

We were very lucky with our weather while staying here and enjoyed many activities in the nearby area. There was an abundance of fish to be caught in the waters near the cabins and rowing boats could be borrowed for free and motor boats hired for a fee. There was also an excellent, good value fish shop in the next village which we enjoyed visiting. On our last day we were very fortunate to spot a group of orca whales just off the coast while walking on the road near the bridge!

Reine was only a very short drive away and we also enjoyed our visit to A where we saw fish heads being dried on massive racks and enjoyed warm cinnamon rolls in the traditional bakery. The scenery in this southern area of the Lofoten isles is absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed walks to the beach at Kvalvika and on our way back up north stopped off to climb Himmeltind with its absolutely spectacular views across Hauckland beach.

Overall I would highly recommend the cabins... they were very high quality and we could even get our laundry done!

We have been here 3 times already, often for a week or up to 10days! This alone proves that we like the place a lot – it’s ideal for families and the location and views are second to none! This time we were pleased to see that the debris around the cabin has finally been removed that was disturbing the view out the window (22 - Erlingbua). Also, we were glad to see that the washing machine - that is available to all - has been replaced. On the other side, we were not amused to see that you are not allowed to use the rowing boats further than the harbor and that most of them were full of water and nobody seemed to make sure that guests would not get wet feet. Hence, we didn’t use them this time! Renting Motorboats was the better option! To make this place perfect, we would love to see the opportunity to rent canoes or (2-seater) kayaks, even though the availability of Mountain Bikes was a step in the right direction!

Close to Reine, clean and large location. Excellent to explore the Lofoten.
We only stayed for 3 nights, more would have been better....
However, we realy enjoyed staying in Eliassen Rorbuer in cabin 21 which has 6 beds.

We spent 3 nights at Eliassen Rorbuer in one of the luxury cabins (N°3). It was very pleasant, very clean and it has a beautiful view. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children, all of us enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend.

Room tip: Cabin N°3 was perfect, but Cabin N°1 has a better view

During our Roadtrip in the Lofoten this was one of my favorite places to stay. In fact I was purposed here during a perfect morning. The scenery is stunning, looking out the windows or the terrace to the cod boats (I am portuguese and we are the top consumers in the world for cod, só this had extra importance for me) was a priviledge. The facilities are good, clean and cosy. The acess to our house was not easy (not apropriate for people with disabilities) but there are lots of others who are prepared for that. I found funny amd useful the key system if you arrive late and it works fine. I would definitly recomend this place for the peace and scenery, for groups, couples and families.
