Found it really silly that the Cafe Chitkool, apparently "the last cafe in India" catered only guests staying at the Zostel, Chitkul. Either they feel they're too cool for others out there or they doubt the kind of people other places in Chitkul cater to.

Really Good Food...Indian and Kinnauri Dishes were amazing, check for dish of the day. We were lucky, they served Trout fish ( Caught in Baspa River ) on one of the days....they also arrange Free Cooking classes ( Kinnauri Dishes ) , we missed it by a day...

Ask for Kinnauri Dishes...specially Mashed potatoes, Kinnauri Pan Cake.

Food here was the best we had in the entire Spiti Trip...Speacial thanks to Sachin the Chef...

We had put a special request for a Bday Cake and he somehow made it ( WIthout Oven )...Kudos.
