Very romantic restaurant with an amazing view and super-deliceious dinner. A great way to experience the modern greek cuisine while enjoying the blue colours of the Ionian sea. Highly recommended. Try to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

This restaurant is down a small track off the main road but what a fantastic setting. Once you have walked through the olive trees you are met with the most fantastic view out to the Ionian Sea. The food here is delicious - lots of fresh fish, meat and salads and all cooked to order. Very friendly and attentive waiting staff . The rose wine was really good too - best we’ve had in Zakynthos. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Visited for an early dinner - location is amazing, a little of the beaten track but once you walk through the gates and into the outdoor restaurant area it’s incredible!
The views out onto the ocean are insane, sun setting and a great playlist in the background.
Food wise I had mussels and sea bass and it was superb, my partner had octopus and prawns and equally great. Washed down with a fantastic bottle of Sauvignon.

I first visited Bassia 4 years ago; the very first month that the restaurant opened. I still remember my first reaction to the beautiful picturesque garden, where the greens contrasted with the yellow tables and the warm lighting made me instantly feel like home. Since then we became regulars. What can i say? It was literally love at first sight.
From our very first visit since today the quality of the food and the service are of impeccable standards. The menu, which alters partly from year to year without loosing its identity, has plenty of options, most of them fish-based, but it also has options for meat lovers. I have to say that this years' appetisers are my favourite - they sparkle an 80s joy that bring me back childhood memories. The mouthwatering cocktail shrimps avocado, the finger-licking baby crayfish, the vitelo tonato dish is a surprise honestly - and these are only the starters. From the main courses i can hardly choose one on top of the other - the crayfish risotto is a classic- Although, the actual extra this year is the fresh fish option. I wish there were more restaurants like this in Zakynthos. Keep up the good work guys!
