Sirena Insolente is everything you would like in a hostel/bed & breakfast - clean, sense of community, helpful employees and 10-minute walk to the beach.

Sirena offers family-style dinners at a reasonable price and has a fire pit and deck that is ideal for socializing. Also, the hostel offers a small surfer training facility.

Visiting Pichilemu was a one-time opportunity I almost passed up. To be honest, I hadn't done my research to see where I was headed, aside from a quick peek at the weather which was on the chillier side of warm for the time we were going to be there, so I didn't really have any expectations. Still, we had a friend working at La Sirena Insolente, so we at least knew where to sleep. From the moment we arrived, it was eye-opening at every corner. The place itself seems straight out of a surf movie (I didn't know this was a great surf destination, but it was a pleasant surprise). It was unlike anything I've experienced mostly having traveled to large European cities, but to my amazement, this was no shack. Instead, we walked into an inviting and vibrant lodge with quaint little nooks (including an outdoor gym/yoga center overlooking a peaceful view, a dome for kicking back and sitting in the sun, a fire pit that turned into the place to be late at night) for zoning out and disconnecting if you so wish. The accommodations themselves were also quite comfortable (the beds were super cozy!), and the bathroom was narrow but clean in the shared suites. Being a more high maintenance traveler, I surprisingly settled into the chill and friendly vibes within a few hours and met some fellow travelers who were there to surf from all over. The combination of the cool staff that's very welcoming and quirky, and the laidback guests, created an amazing ambiance that I find hard to imagine can be replicated anywhere else. Pro tip: you can rent surf gear from the hostel and even if you're new to surfing, it wouldn't be hard to find a fellow guest who wouldn't mind giving you a quick lesson, or to find a class nearby. The proximity to the beach is epic and definitely adds to La Sirena Insolente's excellence, but overall it's an experience you'll never forget. Thank you so much!!

I only have good thongs to say; great location (if you have access to car), clean, friendly, very comfortable beds! Standard breakfast is included (bread, cereal, tea etc.) If you're a surfer you're right around the corner from the best spot. 5 stars!

Great location, service, and amenities, and within a 5 minute walk from the Punta de Lobos waves. We were able to rent surfboards and wetsuits on site, and the staff ended the evening with a nice campfire in the yard. And what a great price for such an amazing location. Thanks for a great stay!
