Description: Jacques Waterfront Dining is one of St. Lucia’s most popular restaurants, with a long-standing reputation for consistency in both the quality of the food and the service with which it is delivered. We recently re-opened in a new and exciting waterfront location in the heart of Rodney Bay. This intimate and elegant restaurant right on the edge of the marina is set within the beautiful gardens of Harmony Suites Hotel, with superb uninterrupted views of the marina and hills beyond. Find us just off the main street in Rodney Bay, first right after the East Caribbean Village condo complex. Chef Jacques is well travelled, having worked in Africa, the Middle East and Far East, and enjoys bringing his various culinary experiences into his cuisine. When asked about his style of cuisine he likes to talk of fusion. French and Caribbean cuisines are melded using his French cooking experience and the wonderful Caribbean flavours that are available to him on a daily basis.

Had a very nice evening here on 31st May. The service was extremely good, nothing is too much trouble and actually, goes well over the norm of what you'd expect. We were given good advice about the local catch of the day.

The location is very good at one end of the marina.

Food was served promptly and was of good quality. I had the rack of lamb which was lovely and tender (it could've maybe had an extra piece for the price but was good anyway). The mahi mahi fish was enjoyed very much by my partner.

Mind you, the car park leaves something to be desired with many potholes and not much Tarmac!

Thanks for a good evening

We tried this restaurant as it was close to our hotel and on the waterfront. In fact we tried most of the waterfront restaurants in Rodney Bay and all of them are good. Some are more expensive than others but our favourite was the Blue Olive. This restaurant because it was more expensive came second on our list. The fish soup was excellent as was the Kingfish which we both enjoyed.

We had dinner here. We had a table near the water. Dining early right after it opened the place was not crowded at all. The service was good as you might expect given the lack of a crowd. We had the smoked salmon appetizer which was excellent. I had the scallops which were also excellent. This is a great choice for a romantic dinner.

Went for dinner here. Ordered the tempura shrimp, the batter was not light and fluffy as it should be, so a bit disappointing. The main of scallops was ok, overcooked so a bit rubbery, and reminded me of restaurants in the UK 20 years ago. Coffee was good. Service was great and friendly. Nice location. Nice staff, clean toilets.

We ate in many of the restaurants in this location and this is the best by far. Don't be put of by entrance through a car park. All of the restaurants are unnecessarily expensive but at least this one was worth it. We went twice and enjoyed each occasion.
