This is a Caribbean standard hotel. The staff, with some exceptions, is very good. The facility is in a noisy area and everything is crowded. The rooms are spacious. Two pools, the largest was closed two days of my staying. The bad thing: I needed to work from the hotel room on Friday morning and the mowing crew was extremely noisy. They literally spent an entire morning for something I would complete in one hour. it is the Caribbean, everything is done a half speed and late. Three machines at the same time.
If you travel to St. Lucia, be mindful that the airport is in the south of the island and the hotel in the north. Unless you have prearranged transportation, the "local taxi" drivers who buzz around the arrival area will charge over US$80 to take you to the north. Taxis to the airport are at the same rate. Drivers tend to be merciless because two round trips will make the day and will put your life at risk in the two-way road. If you are not afraid to drive on the left side, rent a car. Better, if you choose an island less hotter and nicer. Think Kauai, Maui, the Big Island or any island in Hawai'iMore
