This was our first trip to Italy and it was a lovely introduction. The villa was comfortable with magnificent views of Lucignano. The kitchen had the usual - cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and washing machine. There were limited utensils and pans but generally we managed. There is a barbecue on site too. As an added bonus, there is free wifi. We didn't use the pool but it looked most inviting. The village itself is great and an easy walk from the villa. Within a ten minute walk there is a selection of restaurants catering for all budgets. The bar to the left of the main gate was our favourite for a drink before dinner. One word of warning - take mozzie repellent and lots of it. This is no condemnation of the villa itself as we got bitten regularly wherever we went. We took our own car so we can't comment on how easy it would be to get around on public transport.
