Gerofotis Guest House is located in a very small village. About 15 minutes far from Egio you find a nice accommodation surrounded by vines and Olive trees. The Guest House includes 4 rooms, which are arranged with the original old furniture from the early 20th century.

The rooms are clean, but some small things could be better. A not emptied bin for example, but overall it was okay.

Very nice is the small restaurant at Gerofotis Guest House, there you take the breakfast and can eat for dinner if you like. And i think you should do it, the menu is small but the food taste excellent. And the price level is very good. The breakfast offer you all what is necessary for a good start in a new day at the Peloponnes.

I can recommend the Guest Hous for all, who looking for quiet, authentic and relaxing holidays.

This place is really fantastic. Our first visit was 4 years ago but with the years it has got even better. Traditional stone house with antique furniture, Dimos upgraded us to two-room suite rather than a triple room just because it was available. Excellent breakfast is served in the garden. Saving the best for last, I haven't mentioned the view yet. The quiet village Lakka is located 9 km over sea town Aigio and has magnificent views to the hills and across the Corinthian gulf. The heart sings with the sights of green and blue.

My son and I just spent three nights at Gero Fotis. We had a wonderful stay. The mountain setting is beautiful. Yet, you are only a short 25 minute ride to 3 beaches. The owner, Dimos, was such a good host. Very outgoing with excellent English skills. The food was also very good. Great place!

Staying at the Gerofotis Guesthouse was a delight! We loved the drive up through the Greek hills to get to the beautiful guesthouse overlooking the sea and the most amazing view we saw in Greece. The sun rises and sunsets were stunning, and worth planning your day to be back to see them. We loved our room! The balcony was amazing and the room was uniquely decorated. Dimitris was a wonderful host, serving a delicious breakfast at a very inexpensive rate, and giving great suggestions for the area. Renting a car is a must, and if you type in the destination in a GPS (rent with a car- or use a phone), we drove right there- no problem! Dimitris has his own authentic Greek restaurant on the back patio, where other guests and locals come to enjoy the food and fellowship. We loved the atmosphere, and highly recommend this place. It is worth planning your trip with this a stopping point. We were here two nights (coming from Athens) and drove back to Corinth (1 1/2 hours) to sight see there. It was a perfect distance to travel for a sightseeing day and very easy to get around. Even after our 5 week trip through Europe, this place was a highlight from our whole trip. We would go back in a heartbeat!!!

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floor have amazing balconies!
